First conceived in 2023, Cosmica is an Italian spin on the American roadside diner with a distinctly western influence. Owned by Zachary Wade and Zakary Pelaccio (with Wade as Executive Chef), Cosmica is built on classic flavors that highlight Italy’s devotion to well-grown produce and simple satisfaction.
From Sicily to Naples to Rome, our menu mostly roams the southern half of Italy’s food legacy. Our dishes change often, but the menu is always designed to eat the way Italians do: thoughtfully and with lots of wine.
At Cosmica, you can bet on reliably delicious food made with the best imports and fresh products available. We’re always searching far and wide for the best natural wines we can get for you. From Zach’s wild-fermented sourdough pizza crust and house-made pasta, to our tongue-in-cheek house cocktails and lively low-intervention wines, Cosmica brings a new verve to the American Mountain West and an entirely unique dining experience to Salt Lake City.
More than anything, service is at the heart of our restaurant - we love our guests and we take the deeper meaning of hospitality to heart every time you choose to have dinner with us. Visit us soon for the perfect pizza, a big warm bowl of pasta, good living wine, and so much more.
